There is a ton of beef in this Senate bill. I've gotta say...Harry Reid did a skillful job of putting it together in coherent form.

He unveiled a stronger-than expected HCR bill in the Senate and has, so far, done a pretty good job of ralling Senate Dems around it. Even Stephanie Miller was positively gleefull about the bill this morning in Air America. Opposition to PO has softened among some Blue Dogs and Dems appear to be holding together against a fillibuster. Reid is confident he has the votes to bring the bill to a floor vote.

I'm not worried in the least about Lieberhole, who's biggest concern right now is holding a Senate hearing on the Fort Hood shootings, which he will not able to do if they remove his miserable ass from committee chair. And, hopefully they will if he dares try to derail HCR.

Not many people seriously thought Reid would introduce a bill before Thanksgiving, let alone a week before. And they didn't expect the bill to be as strong as it is.
