1. The talkinghead opinions on his district have been all over the place today.
From "it's a blue stronghold" all the way to "trending red."

I do hope it's the former.

4. It has only been trending red on presidential elections.
It has voted more strongly Democratic each election cycle on the Senate race and state races. The key to understanding this phenomina is knowing that a large percentage of the Jewish voters in the district cast their vote for president based on the candidate's position on Israel. There are a large number of voters in the district who voted for Bush in 2004 but voted for Clinton and Gillibrand.
