New York is still going to lose two House seats before the next election, and almost certainly will have a negotiated strategy of one Democrat and one Republican seat cut. However much you like Weiner's fiestiness and/or think what he's done doesn't warrant resignation/removal, it sounds as though he doesn't have a lot of friends in either Washington or Albany (except for anti-gay bigot Rubin Diaz Sr), and his seat may likely be on the chopping block. Unless you have a better Democratic choice.
