He can only win by delivering a better life to the American People.
We voted for change hoping it would come.
No matter how bad the opponent is he will be held accountable for whatever situation the nation is in at the time of the elections.

11. well, if the dissembling of "leaders" didn't have real-world consequences...
...you might have a point.

However, collapsed economies and ecosystems tend to serve as effective "grudge" reminders.

9. No, in the good ol' tradition of the most Popular person winning.
Obama has both substance and style.

4. He also said it wouldn't be easy, and he also said some things
wouldn't be done within a single term.

I'm not expecting all the shit that has taken YEARS to set in motion to be reversed in this timeframe. And I am giving him a hell of a lot of credit for HEADING things in the correct direction, which he also said would be the way things would have to be done, and that makes sense.

So, does he get thrown out for not having been able to mark "DONE" on a lot of major things that will take TIME to undo? And then put in a Republican who will most definitely be some combination of inept/corrupt/crazy to finish sending the country to hell in the proverbial handbasket?

I'm not going to vote against him. And I don't believe he will have a Dem primary challenger. My choice is clear.

We'll see how gullible the American public is yet again. I WILL hold the Dems/Administration accountable if they don't make clear the R's lying, ineptitude and desire to destroy the middle class whenever they get near a mic.

7. That's what it all comes down to
If he can't deliver, or at least show that things are getting better, people will keep that in mind as they go to the polls.

12. The 'normal' GOP politicians are now just as nuts as the nuts
Each and every one of them is trying to cram their failed ideology down America's throat.
