ARLINGTON, Texas - A close call for former President George W. Bush at the White Sox vs. Texas Rangers baseball game.

The former president and First Lady Laura Bush were in the owner's box when a foul ball went straight toward them.

White sox catcher A J Pierzynski tried to catch it. Ruth Ryan, the wife of team owner Nolan Ryan, was standing talking to President Bush when the ball came flying. President Bush laughed about it.

Later Pierzynski said that he told president bush, "Just cause he was the president doesn't mean I wouldn't jump on top of him."
