Unreal. Can I get a 'whaaaaa'?

Why Bush Isn't Going to Ground Zero

George W. Bush won't be at Ground Zero with President Obama today "in part because he feels his team is getting short shrift in the decade-long manhunt for Osama Bin Laden," the New York Daily News reports.

Said a highly-placed source: "He viewed this as an Obama victory lap. He doesn't feel personally snubbed and appreciates the invitation, but Obama's claiming all the credit and a lot of other people deserve some of it."

Associates familiar with his thinking say Bush does not believe Obama or his handlers wanted to exploit his presence. But the tag-team idea "was for the benefit of Obama, and Obama withheld credit from people Bush believes deserved it," a source said.

THIS is what idiot son should be remembered for...

1. "Associates familiar with his thinking..."
That's some rock-solid reporting right there.

3. "Associates familiar with his thinking..."
The only associate that could be even remotely "familiar" with Chimpy's thinking:

7. The Dimson administration screwed up at
Tora Bora and chose NOT to make bin Laden a priority (his words) and now they think they should get some credit for the killing of OBL? That group of whackos never ceases to amaze me.

8. Without Dumbya's Reagan Retread Admin, no one would have ever heard of bin Laden
Edited on Thu May-05-11 07:05 AM by Thor_MN
They CREATED bin Laden during the Soviet-Afgan war. Without Reagan funding and training, Osama bin Laden would have been the unknown son of a rich owner of a construction firm.

So I guess that they deserve some credit for creating him.

13. Obama invites W to Ground Zero to honor W's efforts in getting Bin Laden.

And W refuses because he feels Obama is not honoring W's efforts enough.

Rightist logic hurts my head.

14. I'm tired of the whining that Obama is claiming all the credit....for anything
I wish they would point out where Obama has said any such thing? It's the talking meme that doesn't for one second match with Obama's persona or how he conducts his Presidential business.

16. Somebody call a Whaaaaambulance!
Bush gave up on OBL. He turned away from Afghanistan to illegally invade Iraq, said he "didn't think about OBL that much", let OBL escape at Tora Bora, and dismantled the CIA OBL team. And we found OBL using standard techniques, not "extraordinary interrogation".

So, what does he expect?
