O'Donnell: Obama invites Bush to Ground Zero; Bush Declines
Edited on Tue May-03-11 07:23 PM by mikiturner
Interesting that Bush declines. Perhaps he didn't want to be reminded of his failure?

1. Then Bush has always been a coward and gone AWOL before!!!

Bush gave up so many times about OBL, cancelled CIA operations in 2006, all that would NOT be good for people to be reminded of what an arrogant AWOL quitter and vacationer he was while so many thousands of men and women put their life on the line for their country.

As for Obama inviting him, as C I C, Obama shows guts again!

2. I think I can understand that. It's not Bush's moment in the sun. He knows it.
Although his puppets are out there in the media spreading THE BIG LIE that Bush's actions lead to the result, Bush knows that this is Obama's moment, that he didn't directly do anything, and besides, he already has 18 holes of golf lined up for that day.

3. I am so happy that Obama invited him.
He amazes me constantly!

I am even happier that Bush declined. It will be nice that it's a Bushless event, but would have been weird if he hadn't been asked at all.

I'm not surprised he declined. I think he hated being president, was so glad that it was over and has no desire to go back. Especially in the shadow of Obama.
