2. He has been pushing for alternative energy since he started running.
And he has made more investments in alternative energy than any single President before him.

Whats disappointing is this type of political attention deficit disorder that seems to have possessed a large portion of the net progressive community.

3. Or the BP gusher, or the many climate change related storms...
if he (and his GOP friends) were really "people of faith", they might get the sense that the Almighty is bashing them over the heads with the urgent need for clean renewable energy projects ASAP!

5. Don't forget the rules: Government can only start wars and lower taxes.
Although, he should start a "war" on using oil.

The Mid East is in turmoil. People are fighting for freedom and dying in the streets. Get up off your ass and talk about windmills and hybrids! Geesh!

28. Not only that!!
There is a volcano about to erupt, and he has done absolutely nothing to stop it...or at least harness all the lava to turn into energy! Good grief, he should put down the sudoku games and get busy!!!

9. Yeah, I mean, it's not like he talked about it in the State of the Union or anything.
Or, you know, like EVERY FUCKING WEEK SINCE BECOMING PRESIDENT.

This complaint is bordering on the absurd. Seriously, Obama's been pushing for alternative energy research since day 1--have you been living under a rock?

11. It's amazing that anyone would write an OP like this given how POTUS has pushed Green energy and
cap and trade since the very beginning of his Presidency. I've had tough debates with opponents on Fox pretty regularly for the past two years on this very topic.

Obama's critics on the left are the only ones who seem to have selective memory on this.

23. why not natural gas
we all cook with it
it is clean enough for kitchen it is clean enough for exhaust
it is like $1/ a gallon
it is domestic so no more propping up dictors and no more blood for oil

why not use usa natural gas??

why do we have to have $50,000 electric cars that only hollywood elite liberals can own?

why can't we have a natural gas car like argentina and brazil that costs $10,000 - you can fill up for $10 - and is 100% GREEN??????
