8. Kerry was not a flip flopper and it would be nice if Democrats did not

embed that as true in sentences not about him. The fact is that Kerry was speaking of TWO versions of a funding bill - he voted for the one where the cost was PAID FOR by rolling back tax cuts for the wealthiest and voted against the version that added it to the debt. He spoke on the floor of the Senate explaining that his vote against the second was a protest vote because of the not paying for it and that the bill would still pass - as he thought it should.
