Whatever happened to the claim that
President Obama shouldn't negotiate with Republicans because they're trying to destroy him? Suddenly they love him?

3. Why wouldn't they love him?
They continue to get whatever the hell they want.

And we're pretty much fucked.

5. He is destroying himself by negotiating with the thugs.
Obviously they don't really love him, but they love that they can get what they want with his help.

the republicans are not going to vote for him no matter what he does now especially after passing the HCR and now hes losing support from liberals because of the compromise he makes with republicans. Its a lose lose situation for him

15. Yeah, too much truth is pretty fucking scary isn't it.
That's why Obama has declared war on truth.

16. no, your last line is completely over the top-
You have a right to be angry- you don't have a right to be downright rude.

I'm not afraid of the truth- I'm not afraid of you- I'm ashamed of the way you have chosen to vent your outrage.

17. OK, I apologize.
It's too late to edit it out. The post will probably be deleted anyway. We trashed the chimp on a regular basis, but Obama is off limits even though he's pulling the same crap on us. I'm not sure where the "Underground" thing really works anymore.

At any rate, I apologize for the insulting remark. I'll just be pissed off beyond belief and keep it to myself until I explode. :banghead: :nuke:

18. as I said- you have a right to be pissed off- you have the right to
express that. I'm no newcomer here, and I've said my own share of crude things.

thanks for apologizing. I appreciate that. and I hope you don't explode.

peace~

Then they'll go back to trying to destroy him.

10. They don't love him, They're just using him.
As soon as what they want is complete, and he tries for the quid to go with the promised pro quo, they will turn on him again.

And the next time there is any bargaining to do, he will again start negotiating from the middle, and expect them to bargain in good faith.

12. Well, he may look at it as using them,
Edited on Sun Dec-12-10 08:55 PM by FrenchieCat
since feckless congress couldn't get her done,
at least folks don't have to go without daycare for
their children as they would if the rates went up at this time
in our economy.

I still think he got the better part of the deal....
did what was right for 98% working Americans
vs. the Republican's working their asses off to benefit a measly 2%!

Guess it depends on how one wants to look at anything.
