Obama's path to renomination in 2012 will be the same as Clinton's in 1996

meaning that if Obama is challenged it will be by some fringe candidate like a LaRouchite or if anybody within the party of stature decides they may want to challenge the president it won't be on the left but the right (Evan Bayh?), but like Bob Casey even Bayh won't do it. Besides at this point Obama is still more popular than both Reagan or Clinton were in their presidencies, and neither of them were seriously challenged--and Obama will not be either:

there are many people who think he has done a good job, not happy with all aspects, but to call him a ratpublicon is downright stupid and to continue to hope for a primary challenge when the party as a whole likes Obama is foolish.

If he can't produce jobs I don't think he'll win reelection. And personally I don't feel he is 100% responsible by a long shot.

The DEM party as a whole is fractured and ineffective in setting their agenda and acting in the best interest of the country. The RATpubliCONs ARE effective but don't act in the best interest of the country.

7. I dunno. The expectations for this President were so high it is

taking some awhile to come to terms with the fact the party may have to field someone. It would have been almost impossible to imagine anyone openly speculating about primarying the president even a short while ago ,but this is being spoken about in many arena's lately. As things get worse, a primary challenger becomes more likely.
I believe the only thing preventing it at the moment is shell shock and apathy. The people that supported the president didn't turn out to vote in the midterms.I am not sure what anyone is going to do in the future but we have a lot a really good Dems who were cut loose in the last GE. And they may be available and willing when they complete their terms.

Some here are not living In reality.We can not afford a long costly primary.Republicans will start
to line up after Iowa and NH over a frontrunner.That will be Palin or Romney.Romney's path Is Gingrich and Huchabee cutting Into Palin's numbers.

Obama will win the democratic Nomination.The 2012 election will not be 2010.Even now Q has Obama
beating Palin.PPP has Obama winning with only Romney making It a razor thin race.

Just as Clinton was not challenged neither will Obama.Remember Obama Is better off than Clinton or
even Reagan was after bad mid terms.

To keep the senate In 2012 and to make any gains back In House we need a sucessful Presidential
candiate.A long primary will kill that.Obama will win the nomination so all a primary fight will do
Is help Palin.

It Is one thing to disagree with and critize Obama's decsions but some here are so bashing Obama
this Is almost turning Into Republican Underground.
