Shadegg insists unemployed don't spend their unemployment benefits and it doesn't stimulate economy!
Edited on Tue Nov-30-10 08:17 AM by flpoljunkie
Just now on Morning Joe. He further says they won't spend the money and will save as much as they can! Barnicle could not believe his ears! Rep. Shadegg, R-AZ, continued to spew the Republican ideology that giving tax breaks to small business will create jobs and thus will stimulate the economy--despite all evidence that demand is the reason small business is not hiring. It was obvious he had no concern whatsoever for those who have lost their jobs in this rotten economy and are struggling to put food on the table. Despicable!

Pat Buchanan rescued him by asking about Sarah Palin, altho Shadegg won't answer Scarborough's repeated question if Palin if qualified to be president. He will only say 'the American people will make that decision.' What an asshole!

1. Did anyone point out that ten years of tax cuts haven't created jobs? nt

6. Barnacle is now asking Rep. Aaron Schock. Says unemployment benefits must be paid for.
Edited on Tue Nov-30-10 08:09 AM by flpoljunkie
Says he and the Blue Dogs agree on this. They want to take the money out of the stimulus funds--that's right, rob Peter to pay Paul. That's the ticket, you cruel and selfish morons!

And, the same line that most economists agree that you don't raise taxes in a recession. Eugene Robinson then points out most economists agree you need to extend unemployment benefits in a recessin to keep the economy afloat.

8. Buchanan asks Schock where he would compromise on the tax cuts and about $1M threshold
Schock says his 'compromise' is 'full extension at current rates for two years.' A full victory for the Republicans, of course.

Schock says the American people gave them the go ahead to stand firm on extending tax cuts for everyone with their votes.

They are in the beginning phases of this lie and this needs to be stopped.

Email Morning Joe NOW - ask him just who was that moron saying people can save money while on unemployment benifits

Dear Joe

Please explain to your guest nobody can afford to not spend every cent of their unemployment benefits in a meager attempt to make ends meet.
To allow guest to spew such disinformation is a disservice to your audience

9. Joe was laughing when he was saying it. Then Buchanan saved Shadegg by changing subject to Palin.
Edited on Tue Nov-30-10 08:17 AM by flpoljunkie
It is indeed more than mind boggling to hear Shadegg repeat this outrageous lie with a straight face. Kudos to Barnicle for asking and trying to get an answer from the creep.
