She remains secure in the knowledge that there is nothing that she can say or do which will alienate her legion of brain-dead admirers; and is equally comfortable in the certitude that the media will continue to treat her every homophobic, racist, ignorant, theocratic utterance as if it had been uttered by a person of substance.
So while I maintain enough confidence in the American electorate to believe that this insipid twit could never achieve national office, I will admit that the longer her 15 minutes drags on, the more trepidation I begin to feel.

Why not just ignore her, stop dredging up her name all the time. Don't feed the beast, stop giving her the attention she needs and craves, and guess what? She might just go the fuck away.

It utterly amazes me how people around here whine and moan about all the attention Palin gets, not realizing that they are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Palin and her kind thrive on any sort of attention, good attention, bad attention, it doesn't matter. So instead of feeding the monster, just shut the fuck up about her, withdraw attention from her, and watch her dry up and blow away.
