I am sick of this sh*t!
I am SO sick of seeing these Rethuglicans on TV talking as if they had just won the House, the Senate, *and* the White House.

The got one part of Congress, and they're saying crap like "We hope the Democrats will work with us to blah blah blah...".

NO! DAMMIT!

We still hold the White House and the Senate. You jackasses need to be trying to figure out a way to work with *us* to blah blah blah...".

When did they take over the government? How did they take over the government? Will somebody (Obama) please get up there on the teevee screen and let these fuckers know that the Democrats are still in power?

I am SO sick of this sh*t!

1. Who isn't, but what can you do about it when the low-info
voters and baggers listen to faux, who feed them faux news 24/7?

3. You are suppose to be sick of it.
It is to try to create frustration and hopelessness. They learned that is how to break people into submission. So they want you to think there is nothing you can do.

That technique is explained in many places, and used by many sides.

4. Well when the Dems (and the media) allow this to happen
How are we to stop it?
The Dems have just rolled over and are allowing themselves to get crapped on. The msm allows it to happen.

29. The more I see...
the more I am convinced- one party that goes by two different names. The "republic" is a facade, a Potemkin village. Our "representatives" do not represent us, they just do the bidding of their real masters.

5. Dems should've acted in a similar fashion in 2008 when we DID
win the house, the Senate and the White House - instead of being so fucking NICE!

6. The Corporate Media allows them to get away with it! They love the Republicans.
Like Rachel Maddow just said on her show: "The Press allows the Republicans to SAY what they do rather than what they in fact DO!"

The WH constantly gives them the opening for this shit.

19. you betcha.
If he showed the slightest bit of spine, and warned the GOP that they would suffer because of their games, (and if the GOP actually believed him) then they would change their tune.

10. here's how the government works
The HOUSE holds the purse strings in the government ... they vote to fund or defund portions of the government.

They can and infact have held the Executive branch hostage by not passing a budget ... effectively causing a shutdown.

If that happens there is NOTHING the President or Senate can do to stop them.

13. They reek of entitlement and self-superiority.
Of course, the GOP are going to make a big deal about it because their win against Obama suits the myth of their own self-aggrandizement, racially and politically. They preyed upon the fears of white America. Now, they see this entrance back into power as a step towards completing the real goal of "taking America back."

Taking over the House in their point of view is proving "that Black man" can't lead the country and it was a mistake to put him into office.

What they don't know is that their warped ideas have converts on this side of the spectrum too. :eyes:

15. It's easier for them to block the President than to run the country
And now that the rabid snarling and snapping at their heels is on their side of the aisle (the newly elected teabaggers) they're into self preservation. If they give even an inch to Obama they might as well kiss their lucrative careers goodbye.

17. The power is in the purse string

The control of the House is control of the wallet. "Them with the gold make the rules."

It is now our opportunity to show them up. They ran on smaller government, lower taxes and blah, blah, blah, well lets get going. Social security, defense, what will it be?
