Brown won against a poor campaigner at a time where he was the only other candidate running and he did not win by that much (too much for MA, but only 5 points). He is not going to carry Massachusetts next year, either as senator or as president.

As they jocky to figure out who will run, this type of stuff will crop up. Brown is not conservative enough and is due to be primaried by the Tea Party fucks.

I'm more concerned about Bloomberg running for president. He woud run as a centrist, with a far right Republican (won't be Brown. Not right enough) and Obama. Bloomberg will strip a lot of independents and enough Dmeocrats to give the win to what ever tin soldier the Republicans nominate.

but, it works to our advantage. If Brown decided to run, h can not run for the Senate.

It is telling that in making the case for him - the writer speaks of his daughter being on American Idol - and Palin's only on dancing with the stars. Next, they will argue that he will win due to his Cosmo photo.

I do think that he might not be easy to defeat in 2012 for Senate - though I think he will lose. His best argument does not even have anything to do with him as a person. If things are bad, even if the Republicans do not find a credible candidate to oppose Obama, they could win the Senate. The Democrats have far more Senators in that class than Republicans - because we won huge in 2006 - electing Senators in states that are pretty red or purple. He could then make the case that if the Republicans take the Senate, MA with an all Democratic delegation will lose. (However in a Republican majority - Brown becomes not a star, but their Ben Nelson.)

7. Obama would chew Brown up and spit him out

besides in 2012 if Brown runs for re-election to the senate, we will have Obama at the top of the ticket and a democrat who won't take the election for granted--Brown in no shoo-in.
