This is no time to jump ship...
That does not mean we cannot criticize the President or our Party. For Christsake, we just got our asses kicked in an election. It is definitely not the time to pop champagne bottles.

However, there is a difference in criticizing the President and offering constructive solutions, as you may see them, and offering criticism just to tear down the President on a personal level.

I question the President's policies and ideas, not his honor or integrity. I attempt to do so in a constructive way. I truly believe that if the President extends the taxcuts for the wealthy, it will do great harm to our Party and to him, personally, in his run for re-election.

I am not against the President. But I cannot sit in mute silence when I think we are on a course that can be corrected. And I am willing to give the President the chance to correct the course. I think we should all be more patient at this time and see what direction we are going before we make any moral pronouncements.

Just my opinion...

and speculate all you want about what he might do,
and what you'll do if he does it.....cause,
what can you lose by it?

It's not like the GOP's media and the Corporate money
won't make an additional dent, and take him all the way down.

Then at least when we holler and yell, after the GOP takes it all back,
we'll have way better reason to be unhappy.

2. The Republicans stood by bush no matter what
stupidity he pulled. We're ready to beat the shit out of Obama and throw him out bag and baggage. Hell, I didn't get a pony either but, I did get somethings and others who have less got more than they ever had with bush or any other President.

In my family being able to keep your child on your insurance until 26 is one

Two of us can not be denied coverage for pre-existing conditions. The Big C which treatments cost big $ or you die.

Those are just 2 off the top of my head because it's 12:30 and I'm a tired.

I'm cutting the man some slack. He's only been in office 2 years. This country with all it's convulted systems can't turn on a dime.

4. "You're not steering right!!! Pull that thing! .. NO! The OTHER thing!!"
.... it's really easy for me to tell Peyton Manning he's not throwing the ball right.

Anyway, where has the President said he wants to extend the tax cuts for the wealthy? What gives you the impression that's his first priority?
