Just A Question Here. I Know I Won't Be Able To Watch The Returns Tonight...
So I'm wondering if the election "wins & losses" will be posted here for each state? I know I can get the paper tomorrow, but it's easier checking it here tomorrow. I get anxiety attacks and I hate having them.

So if anyone has any information I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

1. Many of the race results will stretch into tomorrow, and beyond.

2. Yes, I Know Some Will, But The Ones Like Boxer, Reid, Murray (WA)
Bennett (CO) to name a few may well be decided tonight. I don't have a crystal ball, but I'm sure many will have finals. I am curious about Alaska, but THAT ONE may take some time. I just wanted to know if the finals will be posted at one place, instead of having to look all over.

Thanks anyway.

3. I assume that both DU and Daily Kos, among others will live blog it
Edited on Tue Nov-02-10 04:26 PM by karynnj
I know that is where I intend to be rather than watching MSM. In some of the past races, Daily Kos has done an exceptional job. This time over the weekend, a great diary was written by someone who has had insightful diaries on the polls all year. For each time when polls close, he has three categories - what would be "good", The critical race to watch, and "turn off the tv now." http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2010/11/1/915635/-Bellwethers-2010:-The-Senate-and-Gubernatorial-Races

They have had turnout diaries today. (They were actually very good when monitoring the Scott Brown voting in January. That would be where I would go. (Not to mention, if you opt to watch a movie, read a book etc - you can peak in whenever and the ends of the threads here and and of the diaries there will immediately give you the story.

Here's another good site - http://www.swingstateproject.com/diary/7917/nov-2-2010-poll-closing-times-key-races

(If you just want the list - the Nyt or any major paper and the networks and cable stations will likely have it.

4. Thank You So Very Much. I Won't Watch TV Because Not Only Does
the commentary upset me, but I have OCD and for some reason these types of things bring on anxiety attacks. It happens with other types of things like watching sports, or just about anything competitive. I realize the game type things really won't affect my life, but I have yet to get this type of stuff under control. I have managed to overcome a lot of other problems, but this type of stuff drives me up a wall.

I may peek, but I most certainly thank you again for the links. Then again I may not peek. Very weird I know, and there are "times" when I can deal with some things. THIS isn't one of them because of the FEAR I feel about the outcome!
:scared:
