So, these are 4 polls all showing a close race with Patrick ahead.

Suffolk: Patrick up by 7
WNEC: Patrick up by 5
StateHouse Poll: Patrick up by 3
Rasmussen: Patrick up by 2.

So, Massachusetts voters, GOTV.

4. You're apparently not familiar with MA politics.
Deval was our first Democratic governor since Mike Dukakis, and he'd be the first one reelected since then too. We elected such crap as Bill Weld, Paul Cellucci, and MITT FUCKING ROMNEY to the governorship here.

The gubernatorial elections are different because the Republicans are all WASPy moderates who try to keep from projecting their crazy until they get elected.

5. before responding you should have done a little research
and you'll find that there have been more GOP governors in MA in the last 30 years than Dem-and that just because you are a progressive New England state doesn't mean you can't elect GOP Governors--look at Vermont.

9. Yup, we have had Jodi Rell here in Connecticut as our Gov. for years.
We might get our first Dem Gov. in 24 years. New England has a rep of having moderate Repub governors with very liberal state legislatures.

3. Those numbers will NOT move, no matter how much Baker wills them to.
And if Razzy could only get Lurch within 2, Patrick's gonna win comfortably.

6. True, they have not moved in several months. I welcome the close numbers, as people in my district
(Markey's) or in Capuano's district where there are no other real fights will go and vote.

7. The only district remotely in doubt is the MA 10th, and Keating's still gonna win that one.
It'll be the last one called in Massachusetts, but he'll win.
