He is considering leaving his caucus post. because he does not want to be tagged with the abject failure the party of Boehner is surely going to be if the take control.

Last month he burnished his bona fides with the religious right by forcing the GOP to include anti-abortion language in their new "contract" with America, (though that does seem to be a political bust.)

And he is running around PA like a crazy man backing up GOP congressmen and other in what can only be seen as an attempt to cut Mitch Daniels off at the knees.

He is one of the few guys they have who has appeal across all elements of the party faithful.

I have nothing to say beyond that. I could just see circumstances where the stars align for him in Iowa and South Carolina. He certainly would be the most Reaganesque of all the wannabes
