Olbermann explains bowing
Olbermann provides an even better defense in proving that in fact U.S. Presidents have bowed before foreign leaders before President Obama. President Nixon and Eisenhower (both Republicans) bowed in a sign of respect to foreign leaders much like President Obama did. Nixon's bow was actually before Emperor Hirohito of Japan who actually attacked the United States in WWII. Nixon's bow was not seen as particularly controversial yet President Obama's bow is now being criticized as an unprecedented departure from accepted custom.

3. I don't think it's the bowing that's the problem...
I suspect the fools criticizing Obama would criticize him no matter what he did.

4. No doubt. Just as they did with Bill Clinton
but in this case, they just show their ignorance and small mindedness.

9. Exactly, if he didn't they would say it is a sign of how arrogant he has
become and how he thinks he is the appointed savior of mankind.

7. this...?
is what Republicans are wasting their whiny breath on now?
THIS?????

the stupidity of elected officials NEVER ceases to amaze me.
I WANT to think there are decent men and women being elected. I want to think that our officials have more character than a slug. I want to think they have more intelligence than a rock.
But they don't.

Wellll, Republicans who spew anything about this obviously have no room in their dense as cement brains for simple respect.

GO AWAY. Just drop off the face of the earth. DISAPPEAR.
Spooge.

8. Yes, of course. They have to show that Obama is "not one of us"
not a red blooded Americans who, say, shoot wolves from a helicopter, or go on deer hunting.
