They are kept in the dark and fed bullshit...

They are told that Obama is running up this huge debt and that he is a socialist. They are not told that Obama followed the advice of the top economists in the world who said he needed to spend a trillion dollars to keep the economy from slipping into a depression. They are told that this trillion dollars is much worse than the $5 trillion that Bush spent on two wars, a prescription drug plan for the insurance companies, and tax cuts for the wealthy. Somehow the trillion that is being spent to save the economy is much worse than the 5 trillion spent in destroying the economy??

So they march in their funny little suits, waving their misspelled signs, and portray the President as some evil joker with blood all around his lips. They are told he is destroying our country as we know it. They are not told that it was their side that destroyed it and the President is trying to save it. They believe he has some evil scheme. They want their country back.

And the Republican Party, with John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, want to give it back to them. So they feed them more and more bullshit. And they eat it up. God forbid that their false premises be exposed to the light of day. If they can be kept in the dark for just 24 more days...
