NV-SEN POLL (R): Reid 45, Angle 40. NV-GOV POLL (R): Sandoval 45, Reid 39
Survey by national GOP pollster shows both Reids gaining ground
By Jon Ralston · September 24, 2010 · 1:37 PM

Reid the Elder is up 45-40 over Sharron Angle

Reid the Younger is down to Brian Sandoval, 45-39

Survey conducted this week for Retail Association of Nevada by nationally known Public Opinion Strategies pollster Glen Bolger. RAN is releasing today. Lots of good information on taxes, judical questions also in poll, which is posted at right.

1. Good! With the choice of "None of the Above," Reid doesn't NEED 50%. He only needs
to get more than Angle.

4. I just got my THIRD fundraising letter from Angle and I don't live in Nevada!

And unfortunately they didn't have a postage paid envelope in it or I would have mailed a few bricks back to them.

Somehow I got on a mailing list from the controversial mailing firm she contracted to target "key conservstive contributors". Someone got sold a bill of goods along the way! And I'm LOL'ing a lot! That's probably why she's slipping now. Money poorly spent!

And I wasn't even employed for the last year, though I'm starting a new job come Monday. Though my donations next week will start going to the Dems that need it! Yay!

6. The most surprising numbers are the Rory Reid numbers, unexpected.

10. That makes me skeptical of both numbers
The gov race doesn't look or feel that tight. It reminds me of 2006 when a few polls suggested Jack Carter was gaining on Ensign.

My sense is the other indications are more real world, a coin flip senate race and double digit gov.

11. That is the only poll that shows him (Rory) close

I'll believe it when I see more polls showing a close race.

8. Turnout and GOTV
We need large turnout in Clark County (75% compare to 2008 elections) and Reno suburbs. Reno is very democratic as many retail enterprise (amazon etc) are there .
