So after Warren is nominated, approved, signed, sealed, and delivered as head of the agency...
then doesn't deliver a large, tangible "boom" to the financial industry, will she be yet another disappointment?

Or will the symbol of having Warren head the agency be enough for you?

3. Didn't you hear?
Her first order of business will be to string up the "banksters" by the balls in a public square, at which point she will unilaterally dissolve the system of capitalism and bring in the Time of Joy.

5. It's a process not an event
The first interesting news will be who she brings on board.

Then will be the original drafts of the regulatory structure. That will tell us alot. Especially if she starts forming advisory "Task Forces" to create them.

Then will be the original drafts of the regulations. That's the closest to a "boom" that you'll get. But at each stage there will be wins and loses. What will be interesting is where the wins come from, and who delivers the losses.
