Is Obama Talking Tough, Or Getting Tough?
I liked the speech, but wonder if it's just talk...

1. Ask the Corporate media. I'm sure they have all of the details.

4. Most speeches are just talk with different objectives.
Campaign speeches are designed to touch people's emotions and motivate/inspire them get involved and vote. There is much debate here as to whether Obama has been effective as a leader but there isn't much debate about whether he gives a good campaign speech. When it comes to this he is the best.

5. It's one in the same. The real power of the Presidency rests in the power of the ..........
bully-pulpit. The real question is: will he stay tough, or just tough enough to get through the elections?

This is the Obama that everyone on the left has been wanting to see. This is the Obama that can lose a fight and at least get the credit for putting up the fight. This is the Obama that the left can get behind.

I just hope he keeps it up. If this is just a campaign stump speech, and not a change in tone and direction how legislation is fought for, the left will end up more demoralized than before.

8. The guy who gave that speech could make huge history
The image, the words, this is what got me to vote for him, these are skills I can believe in, and he needs to learn how to employ them in all aspects of his job.
