CBS news actress goads Laura Bush into accusing Obama

of talking down to her husband's administration on the Early Show this morning. I forget the word she used. Started with a "d". It's not online yet, when it is I'll post it. I wanted to smack her. Not Laura, but the bitch interviewing her. She SOOOO wanted Laura to play the victim because Obama mentioned on several occasions that he was cleaning up the mess Bush left behind. (and to drive that point home, she played several different clips).

That woman is not one, could not be one. She is a newsreader. Not a journalist, not an actress. She's more like an evangelist than anything. A news evangelist.

11. Laura Bush; I like her

I know your post was about the interviewer not Laura but here is what I think about her. Laura Bush is in one of the most unenviable positions anyone would want to be in; she is married to someone she most likely disagrees with 75% of the time. Laura was raised a pro choice Democrat. When she fell in love with W she had no idea where that would lead. He probably didn't even have very firmly rooted political beliefs of his own other than what poppy Bush told him. The point is, it is until death do you part not until husband becomes worst president in the world.

I can't even imagine how hard it must be for any first lady when the president is screwing up so bad. Laura always presented herself well, took up some good causes and never did anything to embarrass herself. I think she was an excellent first lady, classy and very charming. If she gets a little defensive from time to time that is to be expected but deep down inside she knows what a moron her husband is. For her to stay married to such a moron gets her even more credit in my book.

If Laura were your neighbor and not married to Bush I think most of us would find her to be a very nice person. It is no surprise that she doesn't along with Babs.
