LOL. When he said something like it would matter if your job was the one being saved.

1. The other time I saw shock was when Barb Walters asked him
"Are boys in your daughter's live now?" He quickly said NO!" I loved that.

7. As the grandma of 2 granddaughters that are exactly the same ages as Malia and Sasha
I think Walters was out of line with that question. Of course, boys are in their lives...they're in a co-ed school. Just like my granddauaghters. I really hate it when adults think it's "cute" to push kids into a sexual frame so far before they are in the least way ready...

8. Plus, she was asking about his daughters' private lives which is
none of her business. Butt out Barbara.

2. Did Hasselbeck suggest that jobs didn't matter?
I can't stand that show, because I can't take one second of her. I wouldn't care
if that show was stacked with 400 progressives and HER. I still couldn't watch.

Did EH actually suggest that helping the unemployed doesn't matter?

3. She didn't like the term "saved" jobs. She seemed to think you can't measure that or those don't
count. President Obama said it certainly did if you were one of the jobs saved and he mentioned how most of those were teachers, police officers, etc. That really isn't that hard to measure. The states and cities know how many lay-offs they would have had to do without the aid in the Stimulus. Of course, Republicans don't think civil servant jobs are "real" jobs. :eyes:

6. She insinuated that jobs created by the stimulus didn't matter.
She was corrected. :D

5. He shut her down and Behar was thrilled
The President held his own and Hasselbeck was far out of her league. She was barely even in the stadium.

10. Cuz that's what life's about, right? The look on Joy Behar's face?
Edited on Tue Aug-03-10 02:42 AM by cherokeeprogressive
Priceless to be sure. As in without a price.

The "look on Joy Behar's face" is so shallow that should you walk across the pool it came from, you'd scarcely get your ankles wet.

Please.
