New Hampshire '12 primary poll: Romney has 2-1 lead (Palin only at 9%)
Romney continues to lead in NH

Mitt Romney continues to look like an overwhelming early favorite for the 2012 New Hampshire primary but the most surprising thing about our newest set of numbers there may be that Ron Paul's in third place, outpolling Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin (albeit by small margins.)

Romney leads the way with 31% to 14% for Newt Gingrich, 13% for Paul, 12% for Huckabee, 9% for Palin, 3% for Tim Pawlenty, and 1% for Mitch Daniels.

1. How odd that Rick Santorum isn't the overwhelming
favorite among New Hampshire Republicans.

2. Willard / Huckleberry 2012
That's the ticket. It appears that Romney will be sacrificed in 2012 to make way for Jebbie in 2016.

3. I can't see those rabid Christianists voting for a Mormon.
They hate Mormons and don't consider them Christians. I doubt he will poll so well in the bible belt no matter how hard they bash our gay and lesbian brothers and sisters.

5. "I'm a Mormon" tv ads...preparing for a Romney run??
After seeing a spate of those "I'm a Mormon (look how normal I am) ads on tv the other night, it made me wonder if they're being aired as a preface to another Presidential run by Romney...trying to distract voters from their aversion to that religion?

8. But if he wins the nomination...
Will they stay home, vote for Obama, or hold their nose and vote for Romney?

6. Palin's advisors are advised...
....to read up on Phil Gramm's NH primary run in '96. They're spooling up to outdo it as the biggest New Hampshire primary dud ever.

7. My girl Sarah's crushing win in IA will catapult her to a NH win
Edited on Wed Jul-28-10 12:01 PM by Politics_Guy25
When she crushes her opponents in IA and wins the caucus, since that caucus is pretty much the heart of the Republican extremist base, her poll numbers will instantly skyrocket in NH.

Remember how Senator Kerry and Senator Obama's poll numbers surged in NH once they won IA.

My girl, Sarah, will do the same.

Romney couldn't even win NH last time. Why will he this time? It's too bad for him that IA comes first.

Again, she's not really my girl, just the easiest to beat.

10. Mitch Daniels' showing is no surprise
Even 'Pugs could never figure out why gays and lesbians were to blame for his being raised by a single mother.
