If you don't think or know that there is a real problem with low morale among liberal/progressive voters right now ... well, then you're living in a 'faith-based reality'.

Pres. Obama's lackluster response to the Shirley Sherrod controversy is just the latest event that makes many, many base progressives wonder what is the point of getting excited about this president or this Congress.

We better see more than just rhetoric between now and November or there is no doubt, Democrats will lose their majorities in both houses of Congress.

In other words, you belittle "enthusiasm gap" polling data at your own peril -- the gap is very real.
