Stimulus: largest middle class tax cut in history and an increase in unemployment benefits
What's in the stimulus: Aid Individual aid Increase in weekly unemployment benefits by $25 $8,800 ($8.8 billion)

This is often overlooked, but came up recently in the current unemployment benefits package.

The WSJ has an itemized chart that can be sorted.

2. It would behoove Dems to explain this to Americans in the 2010 campaign.
People are given so much dis/misinformation by Faux News and the cadre of wingnutty flying monkeys.

I'm glad Plouffe is shaping the 2010 election campaign.

3. And that, I think, explains why Biden got a little ticked at that guy's comment...
... the other day ... the one he called a "smart ass."

Should have called him "a dumb ass."

4. Let's not forget that forty percent of the stimulus are tax cuts,
The least stimulating economic tactic ever. Let's not forget that sixteen billion dollars in the stimulus was for school construction and repair. Let's not forget that that sixteen billion dollars was cut out, replaced by more. . . tax cuts.

5. also don't forget
that tax cuts on your income don't mean a hell of a lot when you don't have a job...

7. Hmm, that "rise" in the economic recovery is looking more and more like a dead cat bounce,
While we're at the apex now, it looks like we'll be dropping soon.
