Republicans so very concerned about the deficit, yet insist Bush tax cuts for the rich not expire!

Yet Republicans say we cannot afford to extend unemployments benefits to those who lost their jobs through no fault of their own. Unemployment benefits stimulate the economy. Republicans do not want the economy to recover--in hopes that voters will blame the party in power--the Democrats, when they go to the polls for the mid-terms in November.

As for the Bush tax cuts, President Obama wants to return to the Clinton tax era when the top tax bracket was 39.6% for families earning more than $250,000 a year.



Shame on them! And, shame on us if we let them get away with it!
