I don't see what the big deal is.

Afghan is a big fail no matter who is running it, there's no way in hell we're going to "win" anything there. I thing McCrystal figured that out and decided he wanted out. He's just a warrior, that's all. You put a warrior in an un-winnable situation and you get what you get.

Now that they are going with Petraeus it's easy to see that it's just business as usual. The military industrial complex at it's finest.
