Even FoxNews couldn't fault Obama today (from the short peek I took at the network)
I switched over and saw Megyn Kelly (sp?) ask their reporter on the ground if there was anything to say about the administration's culpability in all this regarding McChrystal. The reporter at the White House didn't even address her question. He talked about the fractious nature of the Afghan commitment. He said that troops on the ground go out to accomplish a mission and Afghans are on cell phones. Our troops don't know if they're being set up for an attack. Ms. Kelly had to keep her chin up and move on to a clip of the president speaking earlier.

There's just no real wiggle room for them, I guess, until Rush and Palin crap out some talking points in the days ahead. And good f'n luck to that effort.

1. It's early in the day
They don't have their marching orders clear yet. Doesn't matter if the point makes sense, but rest assured Rush et al. will have a talking point against Obama and the stoolies will run with it.

As soon as the focus group approves, it'll be full steam ahead with the talking points.
