Will Joe Biden be on the ticket in '12
I'm guessing Joe must be pretty fed up with things by now.

2. Better question: Who will oppose Obama for presidential nomination in '12?
Markey has been great on the BP issue, for one. Whitehouse is always great and then there's the perennial Dennis Kooch.

think Markey has his eye on a senate seat.

BTW I saw an interview w/ Joe Biden and he was asked does he disagree w/ the President
on somethings and he said, "In private I speak my mind w/ the President and he is fine
w/ that." rough quote

Both Biden and George Mitchell are working very hard on the Mideast too.

The world can turn on a dime and this is a 24/7 news cycle.

Why are some so concerned with who will be elected in the next election?

21. Interesting ~ the candidate must do as you say and think

I am a Senior and have voted for many a candidate.

None did exactly what I think would have been the best thing to do on every issue.... that includes Clinton, Kennedy, Carter. Johnson and JFK.

When I look back on each one, I now view the totality of their work and I am more than pleased that I voted for each one.

Since I am not sitting in their seat, didn't walk in their shoes and gaining information that they received on a daily basis (not talking about what the news is reporting) I appreciate what they did for our country.

I can not say that for Bushes, Reagan etc.

25. No, the candidate must do as He says during the campaign, that caused me to vote for him in the
first place. I don't get the satisfaction with the Clinton vote either. Nafta, moving american industry to China, the final straws of financial de-regulation, and a widening disparity between the wealthiest and the poorest doesn't equal a list of accomplishments I'd be happy with.

34. What is the goal there? If I knew the goal, I would then try to figure out if it was achievable.
Grinding up American servicemen, and pissing away hundreds of billions of dollars without an objective is unacceptable. Americans are killing civilians faster than fighters, and the whole process has become so inhumane, that our forces are playing video games with unverified human targets. So you are right, that isn't working for me either. And the current involvement goes beyond anything proposed during the campaign.

Perhaps you can define our mission there for me.

22. Joe Biden will be dumped somehow, maybe for health reasons
he just talks to much sometimes. After this gulf oil spill mess and how Obama let the Republicans capitalize on it I look for at least 6 challengers for Obama. You take the endless wars, the economy and a health care plan nobody even Democrats supported I think Obama is a one term President. Of course he could turn it around if he fired some of his staff anfd took charge.

This same BS went on in 2004 when Kerry was 15 points ahead of Bush. Cheney's doomed!! He's gone! I tell ya. Gone! Mccain will be the VP! Or better yet even Colin Powell! Ummm...didn't quite turn out that way. And that is a case where the president was in trouble for listening to everything that his VP told him to do! Our President would have to be 30-35 points behind in the polls to dump Biden. Even trailing by small double digits is not good enough of a reason for him to do it.

There is no way in hell that Joe Biden is not on the ticket in 2012 absent his dying or a family member close to him dying.

In fact, there is more chance that he will be at the top of the ticket than not at all (if he wants to run again that is) and the odds of him being at the top of the ticket are pretty much nil. So, there you go.

BTW, why this co-ordinated attack against Joe all of a sudden??? He's a great VP. Also, how the hell would dumping Biden get rid of any perceived Obama 2012 re-election chances pitfalls? If 2012 isn't looking great for our president, it would not be Joe's fault at all and getting rid of him would not fix the problem. This is infuriating.
