According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, 417 road projects are on the books because of federal funding. In Columbus, $3.5 million has been allocated to 16 street resurfacing projects, 10TV's Patrick Bell reported.
One of those projects includes the corner of East Livingston and Parsons avenues, where Obama will speak Friday.
Obama is expected to announce an additional $15 million in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act money for that repaving project, Bell reported.
