I think we are better off with Greene as the nominee in SC
Look DeMint is a lock to win reelection. So whomever the nominee is they are going to to get whacked.

But here is the thing. Absent any real evidence of fraud, if this is was done legitimately. the election has to stand. There is nothing illegal about crossing over to vote in the other party.

We are better off exposing the plot and sucking up this nominee. The alternative is getting into a internal war that will be used to say we are trying to overturn a legitimate election and looking like DixieCrats. Far better to havehe story be about slimy corrupt cheating Republicans

1. And how would you think they would expose the plot without
protesting the election, which then would allow for an investigation to proceed? That doesn't mean Greene will be automatically replaced or invalidated.

2. I am all for the investigation
Just saying that if it was coordinated crossover voting we should not try to have it thrown out.

3. Not so sure demint is a lock
I heard he was polling less than 10 pts ahead of the dem who got screwed out of the nomination (which is probably why the vote was fixed).

This guy Rawl may be a crappy Dem but he's better than either demint or Green.

5. Well, then why didn't Rawl know about Greene?
It's a fair question.

I still wonder is there was an underground email campaign from the other side.

The GOP is awfully quiet about this.

4. I agree with this premise:
DeMint was a lock.

I want to know what the hell is going on, and if that means in this case sacrificing the seat that we probably would not have one in order to get the truth, I am for it.

I just don;t buy this as a legit election. I don't. I want the media to get to the bottom of this. I don;t want an inner party battle, I want truth.

How did he win? Can someone inside the party or part of the media PLEASE do a serious report on this?

6. It won't be an inner party battle when the guy was not supported by anyone
except the fools that don't bother checking out who they are voting.

The D party is not going to support that fool financially or any other way both at the local, state and national level. If they can make the connection on where the money came from and tie it to the Republican Party they might have a chance of having the guy step down so they can replace him. They would need to get the goods on him such that if he doesn't step down he risks serious prison time.
