The problem with having this Democratic president...

Is that he's trying run a country that's been fucked over by Republicans for far too much and far too long.

They've created so much momentum of fuckedupness that it's impossible to come to a screeching halt and do a full reverse.

It doesn't help matters that people who are calling themselves Democrats have also fallen for the status quo. Must be more money in it than we originally accounted for.

That's a different matter altogether.

But, I have no doubt that when conditions in the plurality warrant it, he'll sit down, think about it, and come up with a logical reason to do the right thing. But, the plurality needs to be there. Otherwise, where is his political capital to use?

I've said it over and over again, we need to change the conditions on the ground.

If we can't, then all we're doing around here is blowing smoke up our own asses.
