31. Matthews was pretty obvious.
Whether he said good or bad things, he was obsessed with Hillary, and like most of the press, he was sure she would win the primary. There's no point in throwing that down the memory hole.

34. Most in the MSM expected Hillary to win.
I thought Obama gave Matthews a 'thrill down his leg'. Oh well, either way, I'm lukewarm when it comes to Matthews. When he's good, he's very good. Other times, not so much.

He's always been a PUMA.

I also think he's a feminist.

4. The guy whom he considers to be "the fifth Kennedy brother..."
... not likely.

He's pissed at the President ... and it's annoying ... but we all have our moments.

Side note: Why is everyone mentioning Tweety (rightfully so) yet almost no one is saying anything about Olbermann's new "days since the oil leak" began which has apparently replaced the "since the mission accomplished" count?

For him to compare the Iraq war to this is BEYOND foul.

8. KO needs calling out too then..KO's email..
Keith Olberman countdown@msnbc.com

And, in my opinion tweety could have said the 5th Kennedy brother one day and the next..the other tweety takes over and it's all about toxic warfare on President Obama.

Edited on Wed Jun-02-10 06:27 AM by AllentownJake
The oil leak will have much bigger impacts. If you are an Iraqi the number of the death count is over a million from the invasion, so I'm sure they are happy we are only counting our military deaths.

6. Frankly, I think a lot of these pundits
don't want to see BP investigated.

Why aren't they more focused on BP's criminal negligence?

Sure there is a lot of anxiety and fear in the Gulf, but there are also people working their butts off to protect the shores.

The media seems more interested in fanning outrage aimed at the administration than at BP.

So he gets like this because he wants some sort of window into the white house.

He wants to be in with the cool kids.

21. Oh, there are so many Tweety transgressions. The proclamation that "we're all neocons now"
The embracing and subsequent creaming of the pants over Trent Lott on his show; the constant race-baiting during the primaries and characterizing whites as "the normal guys"...all of these things were infuriating and despicable! I haven't liked Tweety for many, many years. His reporting of the Oil Spill tragedy is just one in many of the issues that I have with this guy.

His comparing the BP Oil Spill (which BP did) to trying to link it to the Iranian Hostage Crisis is just sloppy, lazy asshattery by all accounts.

Tweety is out for Tweety. If it has taken you this long to figure it out you are not very bright. Right now hitting the President in the knee caps over BP is the cool thing to do.

John Stewart is whacking him too. Is John Stewart a right wing secret troll? Of course not. You people watch way too much cable news.

27. Lately, Tweety's been a candidate to take over Beck's show.
He's obsessed with Obama's "emotions." Apparently this will continue until the POTUS openly sobs on camera and throws himself to the ground so he can curl up in a fetal position and "emote."

Because he's on TV or something?

Dude has the mentality of a middle schooler- and lowers anyone who watches him to that level.

in that the people are watching instead of the propaganda on Cable "News".
Not that American Idol is anything great though.
