It's really about finding a niche for oneself. You can't have good progressive 'cred' if you agree with the establishment. Obama has been President for over a year and is now 'one of them' - part of the group that 'enables' the oligarchy to exist. Once you're in the 'club' though, you're not allowed to praise the President. As Rush so aptly put it - "Conform or be Cast Out". Is one club better than the other?
