3. lets hope
that its done better than HCR
passing a bill to fix a bill you just passed a week earlier is the definition poor thinking

im just going to say it and i will admit since my wife operates a womens health clinic i have a dog in the fight
every person who pushed "health care reform" is a fool
what should have been passed was INSURANCE REFORM
there isnt a single person unfucked by insurance companies
and how do we deal with our"health care crisis"?
we sell the public to the insurers
the very same people who have screwed getting health care for everyone into the ground
it is no lie
no exageration
no stretch of the imagination
to say that the health care available in the USA is the finest on earth
managed by caring people
knowledgable people
and the insurance companies make it as hard as possible for every person working in healthcare to get compensated
they screw you by denying claims
they fuck my wife by denying payment for rendered services
so everyone gets a turn
and these are the people we have been sold to
i hope they dont turn each of the items listed into another ugly irony

4. Smart! The WH knows that after the midterms, it will be exponentially harder to get anything done...
Edited on Wed Apr-21-10 11:43 AM by ClarkUSA
...because many Democratic seats will likely be lost in both the House and Senate.

5. He has already done an amazing amount
If he gets climate change, immigration, and financial reform done too - and we get all combat troops out of Iraq by the end of his first term, he will really have done more than almost any president except FDR.

7. Four Words: Don't. Ask. Don't. Tell. Fierce Advocate my ass.
Civil rights for all isn't on the agenda. Go figure.

I'll pass your good news along to my daughter, who can't get married and couldn't serve her country if she wanted to.

Wow indeed.

8. Is the President's proposed regulation on hospital visitation civil rights?
There is more legislation in the works.
