Delaware: Big-Money Race For Castle's Seat
Delawareans can expect a very expensive House race this fall, judging from the campaign report ex-Lt. Gov. John Carney (D) filed Wednesday for a race that includes two wealthy Republican candidates.

Carney said he raised $255,000 in the first three months of 2010, bringing his total receipts to $969,000. He began April with $675,000 in his account.

Carney's first-quarter take included $154,000 from individual donors and $99,000 from political action committees. The latter group includes donations from the campaign committees and leadership PACs of Democratic members of Congress.

The two major Republican candidates are Michele Rollins, a businesswoman and philanthropist, and Glen Urquhart, a real estate developer.

1. I'd rather have the senate seat. Someone has odd priorities.
We NEED that seat.
