Bush just didn't believe in things like this and most conservatives don't believe in working w/ the rest of the world.

That story about Chile was amazing. I had no clue all of that was going on.

1. The MSM is pathetic
Every time the previous president passed gas it was on the news. But we have a historical event occurring and the coverage is little to nothing.

3. The M$M is corporatemediawhore central.
They don't want anyone to like what the Prez is doing. They do not want a second term from Obama.

4. She is terrific!!
She also covered the latest outrage from McDonnell: a new form of literacy test for felons to get their votes back. I had heard of the required essay, but I hadn't thought of calling it a new literacy test. I hope someone takes it to court.

She did a great job on the nuclear summit. I was really proud of our president for pulling this together.

7. Last week People magazine did a spread on Rachel
in her Mass home and gave a lot of her history..very interesting.

I'm proud too of the way the President has handled the nuclear security and nonproliferation

..and signed the START with Russia's President Medvedev.

9. Keith may be close,
but he doesn't seem to have the outstanding philosophical, social and political character attributes of Rachel.

10. I am VERY surprised that yours is the first thread about it...
... think about it .... in two years time, we will OWN a large portion of the former Soviet Union's stock pile of uranium ... BOGGLES the mind.

If another country were sucking up spent nuclear fuel like WE are we'd be FREAKING OUT right now.

But no .... The Obama gets two countries to hand over their uranium AFTER getting Chile to do the same.

All in a day's work.

MAN I wish he'd just DO something!!!!!

16. This issue and the President's leadership is so important
It takes me back to the Kerry/Bush debate when it was discussed. Then I read about Sam Nunn and his life's work on it as well as how Obama has worked with Nunn, Kerry and Lugar on it. It's a bi partisan effort with our President in the lead that should be applauded.

Anyone who tries to tear down the effort is a disgrace and an enemy of world peace and safety, imo.

I was shocked by the Chilean story, too. But the story did say the stuff was in a closet. The tv news report showed a much more sophisticated setup. But still, the timing of it was scary.
