They are either just ridiculously paranoid freaks or are nothing short of Neo Nazi zealots trying to twist news to a dangerous and extreme agenda.
Their reaction to discussions with Russia on Arms control now borders on disgusting. These bigotbots would have happily clapped an Arms Control agreement negotiated by McCain. They happily clapped Arms Control agreements negotiated by Saint Ronnie and Poppie Bush.
Their reaction to the President clarifying the no first strike rule that has kept the policy of Mutual Assured Destruction sane is beyond any grasp of reason.
A badly worded New York Times headline is to blame for it.
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/06/world/06arms.htmlSome of the milder lunatic statements that they are putting out:
He’s basically asking us to trust other countries or terrorist groups without being able to verify, and unilaterally disarm without it. Not to mention broadcasting to our enemies what we will or will not do. Not very “Reaganish”, that’s for sure. I think he’s in the fight of his life with this one.
And weeeeeeee! We’re off on another excellent adventure to Europe to sign another treaty with Russia. I wonder if he realizes that the Senate has to ratify that treaty. And what D senator running for office in November wants to vote “yes” on this one with the public consistently polls as distrusting his administration by large margins – and the congress by even larger margins. He’s asking them to take a dive for what he wants on his legacy resume. That’s what we get for voting in a Panglossean neophyte who has a grandiose personality disorder as leader of the free world.
Obama is disarming America – he is taking nuclear retaliation off the table.
Guess what? We’re gonna see “flash mobs” on a world wide level. North Korea, Iran, Venezuela… all getting nukes while Obama ties our hands behind our backs.
Bloody hell, folks, it’s going to be a bumpy ride. By 2012, we’ll be knee-deep in international crisis. National security will overtake the economy as the greatest issue in the elections by then.
We’re living in the 1930’s all over again: Depression, disarmament, rogue nations and regimes rising, domestic socialist tyranny rising…
We repeat our nightmares again and again because we always forget history.

Well, at least he gave us the Easter Weekend to rest up and re-energize. This article just went out to 34 people who I am sure are sending it out to hundreds as I type this.
Any decent person would welcome progress on Arms Control. That however requires the Republican to be decent and human.
