1. I have no idea if tha'ts true, but that WAS 17 years ago

8. I do not think that it had anything to do with their voting record. Bill's
sex problems had a lot to do with it. When repugs came along promising morality in DC the people fell for it. That at least is what happened in our area of the country.

Sorry, Bill, we love you but you did hurt us.

9. Hey, jackass! One of the Dems who voted for it is now Speaker of the House

Here's the roll call: http://clerk.house.gov/evs/1993/roll406.xml

Some of them, like Durbin and Cantwell, are now in the Senate. Yeah, that vote really hurt them, didn't it?

10. That isn't true. Norm Dicks, Jim McDermott and Peter DeFazio
all voted for Clinton's budget and still serve in Congress. I only looked at Democratic Congressmen in WA and OR. I'm sure it wouldn't take much research to put together a much longer list.

11. Good idea Gingrey...
Point to something else that NO republican voted for (had to be passed with Al Gore's vote) AND WAS A HUGE FREAKING SUCCESS!

Morons. Morons all.

12. He said the ones pictured on his mug sheet
I'll be that made a lot of Dems shake in their shoes. What a dunce. Every person on that sheet is a hero in my book.

14. Hey Moran - Does Madam Speaker Look Familiar?
It might also come as a surprise to the following people to find out that they haven't been in Congress since 1994 but in a parallel universe...

John Dingell of Michigan
Louise Slaughter of New York
George Miller of California
John Lewis of Georgia
Henry Waxman of California

These are just a few of your fellow House Members which have been out front fighting for healthcare, don't you know when they were elected to Congress?

15. By my rough count, there are 80 members who voted for the Clinton budget
who are still in the House. There are several others, such as Sanders, Shumer, and Durbin, who are now in the senate. And most of those who are not still in Congress held seats that are currently held by Democrats today.

16. I'm pretty sure about 50 Democrats at least are still around from that group.
Edited on Sun Mar-21-10 04:55 PM by Zynx
Maybe more.

Also, almost all policy experts credit that budget with getting us on a responsible track. Is everything politics to these bozos?
