Any good Twitter feeds for HCR that aren't full of pollution?
I'm kind of new to this, but it seems like the Teabaggers are tweeting their little fingers off tonight.

1. That's part of the nature of the beast...
once a feed becomes popular enough it's always infiltrated, pretty much. After you've been using it awhile I can assure you it's easy to filter out the teabaggers.

At someone else's suggestions right now I'm using #p2 and #HCR.

2. There are probably some good lists people have set up that you can follow that would just include

the press, normal pundits, dem bloggers and regular dems. That essentially describes who I follow but there are also specific lists people set up themselves on this topic that don't include the RWNJ's.

Let me see what I can find.

edit to add #tcot = Conservatives. #p2=Dems/progressives. You could try doing #p2.

3. Have you set up your own account? It would be easy to do and then just start following people
whose comments you are interested in who focus on hcr.

One good way to figure out who to follow is to go to someone you already know you like and see who they are following. While looking through that, you can click to follow whoever you want to out of their list of followers.

8. PressSec (Gibbs) has a lot of the reporters & bloggers he follows so you could find a lot there.
I don't follow most of the RW reporters, pundits and politicians because if I wanted that I'd watch Faux. He also has a lot of the White House people who are on twitter there too.

13. You can do the same thing for other people. You can always click on their name which will then show
Edited on Sat Mar-20-10 09:34 PM by Pirate Smile
you their twitter feed - i.e. their comments and retweets so you can see if it is a person you would probably like to follow. It also may show a little about them that they've entered about who they are - might say what paper they are a reporter for or it might just say they are a liberal news junkie, etc. Look in the top right corner. It is whatever they put there to describe themselves. After you do that you can just click on your back arrow to go back to the list of people you are reviewing.

5. Do you really need a 24/7 feed of idiotic ramblings echoing "news"

9. You can stop following the idiotic ramblings and only follow what and who you
want to.

It is as good as you make it. It is the fastest place for news anymore and you can respond to reporters, etc. directly.
