http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/03/19/AR2010031901852.html

President Barack Obama is bringing Democratic lawmakers to the White House on Saturday - the eve of a crucial vote on his health care overhaul.

Obama wants to make a last push for his top domestic priority after more than a year of debate.

White House officials said the House Democratic caucus would visit 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. at 4 p.m. EDT Saturday. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid also is expected be there.

The meeting, was supposed to have taken place at the White House but was moved to Capitol Hill to accommodate for the large number of expected attendees. White House spokesman Reid Cherlin sent the following to reporters just minutes ago;

"Tomorrow's meeting with the House Democratic caucus will be held at 3:00pm in the Cannon Caucus Room."

2. I like this because it isn't really one last push
it's a toast to their place in making history, and a pep-talk about how to kick ass in 2010 using this legislation.

6. IF this passes
it's not going to get one single vote more than is needed, there are Blue Dogs who want to be able to vote against it, even though they may not want to be the "one" who defeats it. But what that does is make everyone who votes for it, the "one" who passed it.

It's not going to be pretty in November if this happens.

7. Stupak presser at 11?

Interesting timing, with the Stupak presser coming a few hours before the president meets with the House caucus.

Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI) will hold a press conference tomorrow with "other pro-life Democrats" at 11 a.m.
