It's a show of Gross disrespect
watching the Bret Bauer interview with the President one cannot help but to think
it's a show of complete and utter disrespect shown by Bret Baier.

Who else can be impressed with such display excerpt those with complete disdain for
this President. The clips I saw and the 2 minutes I spent watching the compilations
are 2Min's I can never recover from or get back.

If thats what interview with the President looks like then whomever suggested that it's
a swell idea for the President to appear on Fox News should be fired. How many
times are they going to expose the President to such treachery and malignant grand
standing being displayed as journalism from a network thriving on entertainment.

How many times did George Bush appeared on MSNBC? anyone knows.

What I sometimes don't get about Democrats is the rushed to appease the republicans,
it's as if the democrats are always trying to prove a point to the republicans that they
can rise above all their shenanigans, while the republicans are staying with being
unproductive, mischievous, unrepenting, scandalous, disdain, arrogant, scornful and
a racist party. What an umbrella to be under and what a party that the democrats are
killing themselves appeasing.

I consider appearing on Fox News by this President as an APPEASEMENT to goddamn republicans.

3. Anyone from FOX would have been ordered to never
interrupt Bush or Cheeeeney. It would be real interesting to have Baier's orders leaked. I imagine they told him to interrupt at every opportunity to try and rattle the President, and show as little respect for him as possible.

11. I'm hoping it backfires
Perhaps some independents watched it and were appalled at the complete lack of respect as well as the complete lack of substance on the part of Faux, and decided the Democrats aren't so bad after all.

14. I don't see it as appeasement - Bush didn't have the guts to go on MSNBC.
Obama loves to go straight into the snake pits of the Republicans.

But I agree 100% that the tone of the interview was grossly disrespectful, and that it served as an example of what Kucinich mentioned yesterday -- the concerted effort to de-legitimize Obama's presidency.

17. That apparently doesn't bother Obama at all. The only people who bother him
--are the 80% of the "left" population that want a public option.

18. Obama handled the interview just fine
and going on Fox News will only help Obama gain support.

19. That was PRECISELY THE POINT Fox "news" wanted to make
and also why it's the height of stupidity to enable and legitimize them.
