Demand a Vote on the Public Option

Join Congressman Alan Grayson in calling for a vote on the Medicare buy-in.

Read the letter and sign onto the petition today!

Dear Speaker Pelosi,

If we’re going to vote on bills without a public option, we should also vote on the public option.

Our bill (HR 4789) lets anyone buy into Medicare.

We've had lots of debate. Now it's time to vote.

Regards,

Rep. Alan Grayson

3. Yup, and it NEEDS to be done before the primaries. The earlier the better!
So that Americans can have a real opportunity to express their will of what should be done at the ballot box!

Not doing so may even be more costly in the general election later, if Dems feeling "left out" stay home!

5. It is ABSOLUTELY HOPELESS unless the No-Public-Option Mandate is DEFEATED.....
Edited on Wed Mar-17-10 07:17 PM by Faryn Balyncd

....Grayson's bill is a great bill.

It would make HCR work by forcing the cartel to compete with Medicare.

But since it is not attached to HCR, it has ZERO chance of passage once HCR passes.

The only hope for reform, the only hope for Grayson's bill, is to DEFEAT the No-Public-Option bill.
