Colorado: Perlmutter Endorses Bennet

Sen. Michael Bennet (Colo.), who faces a Democratic primary challenge in his bid for a full term, is touting an endorsement from Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-Colo).

In a statement released by Bennet's campaign, Perlmutter said that Bennet and former Colorado Speaker Andrew Romanoff (D) are "gifted and talented public servants of whom Colorado can be proud," but that Bennet's "diligence, determination and dedication to solving problems and moving Colorado and America forward have earned my trust, respect and full support."

Perlmutter, a former state senator, is in his second term representing Colorado's 7th district near Denver.
