1. I wonder why some get red and some get blue
any significance, or just what they had in the closet?

Obama joins APEC leaders for dress-up dinner
(AFP) – 1 hour ago

SINGAPORE — US President Barack Obama joined world leaders who donned colourful designer shirts for a glittering dinner Saturday, taking a break from annual talks to enjoy the Singapore waterfront and skyline.

Obama, who arrived late after jetting in from Japan, was resplendent in a shirt created especially for the 21 leaders attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Singapore.

--snip--

In keeping with APEC summit tradition, the leaders wore custom-made tops reflecting the host country's culture, this year crafted by Singaporean designer Wykidd Song.

Male leaders were given long-sleeved linen shirts with mandarin collars, a style inspired by the blend of Chinese, Malay and Indian culture found in Singapore. They chose from blue, red or green variants.

4. Good find. It doesn't look like anyone went with the green option
and I see none of the N.A. contingent went with that "commie red" :D

12. Only three green shirts in the entire crowd here:

Can't see who they are and the caption didn't give the details.

IMO, the green shirts are too light and not as attractive as the blue and red.

18. The ladies got a very pretty red silk wrap top.
Michelle would look great in one. Maybe Barack can get one made up for her!

i was actually waiting for this event to see the odd outfits and how Obama would look in it.
