Do the math. It's 4%! 'Government takeover?' Totally absurd!

Frank Luntz and the Republican party leadership know that--but Luntz does know that the pithy lie repeated ad nauseum--something in which the R's excel, tends to sell to the uninformed masses.

1. Do the math, Orrin! Obama's plan would cost $100Billion/yr in a $2.5Trillion/yr healthcare economy!
That's 4%, Orrin! MSNBC just showed a clip where Orrin Hatch lied again (and was, as usual, unchallenged by the media) about President Obama's healthcare plan. The health care economy may amount to $2.5 trillion a year, but President Obama's plan would cost only about $100 billion a year! That is 4% of the annual amount we spend on health care in this country and yet manage to leave tens of millions uninsured.

It is shameless in the richest country in the world.
